A mentored skill enhancement course for the keyhole aspirant

Course Overview

Minimally invasive surgery is emerging as a standard of care approach for managing different urological pathologies. With increasing popularity of these endeavors, the practicing urologist needs to be adept with the various aspects of this approach. However insufficient orientation with this approach remains the major hindrance to regularizing this approach for most urologists.

This course is intended to render the participants a broad orientation to the keyhole approach including keyhole anatomy, access issues, dissection techniques and tips and tricks of laparoscopic suturing. A blend of didactic lectures, access to ground-breaking surgical videos, hands-on-experience at simulators and active participation in live cases are the special attributes of this course.
